This classic hotel in Nerja, located on the beachfront with direct access from the promenade, sought to refresh its image to meet the high demands of tourism in this corner of the Costa del Sol. The renovation is carried out in two phases: the first, already completed, includes the remodeling of 96 rooms and their corresponding common areas, corridors, and elevator lobbies.

Seeking inspiration from the maritime color palette and materiality, vibrant blue glazed tiles are used, complemented by contrasting wood tones and brass details in lighting fixtures and accessories, to add a touch of sophistication to the design. In the rooms, entry thresholds, and lobbies, the tile appears as the main element, in overlapping panels framed with wooden profiles and backlit. The main objective is to preserve the traditional essence, aligned with the values of Mediterraneanism and simplicity, while updating its aesthetic to offer a more contemporary and appealing experience. The work is being carried out in collaboration with Tailor Retail Makers, builders specialized in retail, contract, and facilities.
