The Codomo Living commission consists of the interior design and FF&E development for 357 rooms, arranged across different typologies: single rooms, double rooms with bunk beds, and a number of suites with private terraces.

The intervention starts from the idea of creating a comfortable, calm and versatile base for the resident’s everyday life. Rather than relying on an overly youthful or trend-led image, the project seeks a more mature, understated and adaptable language, able to suit different profiles and remain relevant over time.

The rooms are defined by a palette of warm, neutral tones, combined with wood-textured surfaces that bring a sense of warmth and familiarity without overloading the space. The overall atmosphere is conceived as a welcoming backdrop, ready to be inhabited and completed with each resident’s personal belongings.

The furniture responds to the basic needs of rest, cooking, storage and study, with compact and functional solutions adapted to each room type. Black accents appear in desks, study chairs, lighting fixtures and switches, introducing contrast and precision within a calm overall setting.

Colour is introduced through the burgundy-red chairs, which add character without disrupting the general neutrality of the rooms. In the bathrooms, the palette shifts towards green tones combined with black sanitaryware. The result is a room system that feels consistent without becoming impersonal: practical, comfortable and carefully measured spaces, designed to support the daily routine while allowing each room to be completed through use.
