The project is commissioned by the promoter of Granada’s first specialty coffee shop, La Finca Roasters, who began roasting and serving his coffee in a small shop on Colegio Catalino Street, in a unique location between Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza de La Romanilla. The proposal focuses on the product as a meeting point and an opportunity to pause. The central element of the design is a semicircular bench that organizes the space, separating the entrance area from the interior seating area. This bench houses a tasting area that offers a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, ideal for enjoying coffee in good company. The project is also organized around the opening of the facade, with a counter and guillotine window that allows for both street sales and tasting at a small exterior bar.

The materiality aims to be discreet and consistent with the brand’s casual and artisanal tone. Handcrafted tiles, made in Granada, are used in natural terracotta and glazed in blue tones. These pieces are complemented by contrasting black details in the bars, carpentry, and kitchen accessories, creating a contrast that maintains the cohesion of the space.
